ABOUT

Stories held inside a world built by hand.

Studio Yona is a stop-motion animation studio. With artists across animation, film, sculpture, craft, CG, cinematography, sound and music, we carry a project from first concept to final post.

Breathing a soul into things

Twenty-four photographs a second. We gather single frames into animation. A handmade world carries a primal warmth that draws people in, and digital craft lifts it past the limits of the hand alone.
